40 days
Just 40 days until we are back home! I am very excited to be back in our house but nervous about being back in a country that is in chaos. I know that our community was and continues to be a safe place for us, and I hope that it stays that way.
I am also looking forward to getting my hair cut; I have not taken care of it these past 6 months, and I really want my bangs back!
There have been a lot of emotions here about our decision, but I think it's ultimately good to be back with our people. People are really what makes this life worth living. I'll follow up more on what these past 6 months have taught me. it deserves its own post.
