just a few more weeks in spain

as of writing this we only have 23 days left here is spain. its going to be very bittersweet, us leaving. it was a tremendous amount of work, time, and money to get here and really only to have us realize this isn't where we want to be. we realized what really makes life amazing isn't where you are but who you spend it with. and we really really miss those people, like so much! it's surprising to say that being the super introvert that i am, but i really do. and i am really looking forward to giving everyone hugs once we are back. 6 months is really a small blip on the huge map of our lives but i think spain will leave a forever mark in our hearts. we did try to make the most of our time here, we took a big trip spain and got to see some other cities and we even got up to northern europe to brussels around christmas time. though if i had to choose again, i would have gone somewhere else other than brussels, brussles was lovely, but knowing that we were only going to be here for another few months i would have tried to knock off somewhere that was on my list of places to visit.

i am not going to go into all the things that were hard here in this post, trying to not focus on those things these last few weeks, and more of what this city offers us.

recently we took a trip south to an old orange orchard and got to learn all about the history of oranges in valencia, and even pick some to take home.

one of the many bridges that cross the turia, the park that runs the length of valencia. we walk to school through the park every day, it been really great way to start the day.

over the holiday's we spent a week down by the shore and got to see this amazing view every day. i was sick the entire time, which really put a damper on enjoying things, but it was still nice.
